Photos of small, semi-luxury weddings and elopements
for couples that love to travel.
When Dana asked if me + my husband wanted to go camping with her and her fiance, I think I responded with something along the lines of ‘OBVIOUSLY.’ And thus began our fall camping adventure at Governor Dodge State Park!
With winter on the horizon, I’d been dying to get out and enjoy the last few days of warm weather while it’s still around. September can be dicey weather-wise, but we lucked out because the weekend was absolutely beautiful!
We ate vegan chili mac (s/o to Dana, who brought approximately 8 pounds of the stuff (; ), made s’mores and chatted around the bonfire with Spotted Cow (a bonus of camping in Wisco!)
Since we’re both photographers, Dana and I thought it would be fun to capture some photos at camp. I had sooo much fun with this lil fall camping adventure session!
It was such a good reminder that photos don’t need to (and shouldn’t!) be reserved for only a few ‘big’ days of your life. Finding the beauty in the day-to-day, and capturing memories doing things you love should be photos are all about.
If you’re ready to go on an adventure for memories that last a lifetime + photos that feel like YOU, what are you waiting for?! Contact me with your craziest ideas + dreams, and I’ll help make them a reality and capture the epic day!
