If an elopement or micro wedding at a boutique hotel with incredible architecture and a stunning atmosphere is appealing, look no further than Casona Sforza. This adults-only resort is located in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, where you can find sandy beaches and buzzing nightlife.
At Casona Sforza, you can enjoy a restaurant and bar, a picture-perfect circular pool with ocean views, and trendy bohemian-style decor indoors. It’s the perfect location for an elopement ceremony and vacation.
Casanova Sforsa also offers various experiences for you and your love to enjoy, including a visit to a turtle sanctuary, a jungle tour, a trip to the mountains, a sunrise dolphin-watching excursion, surf lessons, and more.
Couples love getting married at Casanova Sforza because it’s like a one-stop shop for elopements, with a dreamy place to sleep, perfect spaces for your ceremony, a romantic vibe, and fun experiences.
If you and your partner are dreaming of a peaceful beach destination wedding ceremony, Punta Lobos is easily one of the best places to elope in Mexico! This secluded coastal area boasts large boulders with a shoreline that makes for a flawless backdrop.
Punta Lobos Beach is in one of my favorite places, Todos Santos, a quaint coastal town on the Pacific coast of the Baja California Peninsula. Todos Santos is an amazing place for couples to stay. You can find gorgeous boutique hotels and Airbnbs.
Todos Santos also has a relaxed, artsy vibe and a lot to see and do. While the surf culture is big in Todos Santos, there’s also a unique downtown area to explore, hiking opportunities, and delicious food.
When you think of an elopement location out of the movies, Paradero is what you get! This stunning location in Todos Santos is less of a hotel and more of a “high-design landscaping project with luxurious suites” with blurred lines between indoor and outdoor space.
You and your love have access to a one-of-a-kind landscape at Paradero, making for a magical outdoor elopement ceremony in a Baja oasis.
Experiences at Paradero are just as fabulous. Guests have access to morning yoga, tacos tours, ocean safaris, an outdoor soak tub, private beaches, and more. Paradero also has a spa, pool, restaurant, and bar.
One of Mexico’s all-time best natural attractions and a place that doesn’t even seem real are The Red Dunes of Pacula. This breathtaking location is tucked in the mountains just north of Mexico City and is often compared to something you’d see on Mars.
Imagine saying “I do” surrounded by vibrant red hills. This is what you’ll find at The Red Dunes of Pacula. Talk about the best elopement photos ever!
For your red dunes elopement, there are several hotels in Hidalgo. You can find even more accommodations, activities, and dining options nearby in Mexico City.
Isla Mujeres, located off the coast of Cancun, is one the best places to elope in Mexico if you want to head to a destination that feels like paradise. Not only are the stunning blue water beaches and beautiful resort hotels enough to attract couples, but Garrafon Park offers an unforgettable elopement experience.
Garrafon Park in Isla Mujeres is a theme park and the ideal place for an adventurous elopement. At Garrafon Park, couples can go kayaking, snorkeling, and kayaking.
The Riviera Maya, a stretch on the Caribbean coastline that runs through Playa del Carmen, is one of the most popular places in Mexico. The Banyan Tree Mayakoba is a resort located on this beautiful shoreline.
Banyan Tree Mayakoba has a private pool villa, beach access, and lush mangrove forests. All of these areas offer an incredible elopement atmosphere.
If you and your love want to explore Playa del Carmen outside the resort, you’ll find various palm-lined beaches and a fun nightlife scene.
Are you looking for an adventurous, Instagrammable elopement destination in Mexico? Look no further! Los Dinamos National Park in Mexico City boasts waterfalls, forests, and endless activities, including zip-lining, hiking, and climbing.
You can even spend the night and camp at the park. There are also many accommodation options and other activities to enjoy in the city.
Design Casa Mye in Tulum is one of the best places to elope in Mexico if you’re looking for an intimate place to exchange your vows. This dreamy villa apartment features a beautiful interior design, gorgeous architecture, a green garden, and a private pool. It has 2 bedrooms, perfect for just a couple or if you also want a couple of loved ones to join you for a micro wedding.
Not only is the Airbnb’s setting itself perfect, but it’s also conveniently located close to the hotel zone and in the trendy La Veleta area. In La Veleta, you can find restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach.
A short drive or bike ride from the Airbnb are stunning natural sites, like lakes, cenotes, and sandy beaches.
If a tropical adventure surrounded by a white sandy beach oasis sounds like your style, you’ll love the Four Seasons Resort in Punta Mita, just slightly north of Puerto Vallarta. The Four Seasons offers a memorable experience for elopement couples.
Enjoy a prime location on the Pacific coast with stunning accommodation options, including beachfront suites. You also have access to pools, beaches, a spa, and on-site dining. There are also activities that make for memorable elopement experiences, including art workshops, cooking classes, ocean tours, tastings, and more.
The Four Seasons Resort really offers everything you need and more! However, visiting Puerto Vallarta during your stay is also fun, with great food, beautiful beaches, water activities, and exciting nightlife.
For another one of the best places to elope in Mexico that seems out of this world, consider exchanging your vows at Iztaccihuatl-Popocatepetl National Park. This stunning national park spans over 3 states and is one of the oldest protected areas in Mexico.
Nature-loving couples can’t get enough of Iztaccihuatl-Popocatepetl National Park. It’s home to 2 volcanoes, hiking trails, and places to camp overnight. You can even ride horses through the park.
While you can stay overnight at Iztaccihuatl Iztaccihuatl-Popocatepetl National Park, you can also stay nearby in Mexico City, which is about an hour and a half drive from the park.
Interested in saying “I do” in one of the most unique destinations in the world? Head to Izamal, Yucatán, also known as “the yellow city” and a tentative UNESCO site.
Izamal is a small city with big vibes! Its bright yellow buildings have magical colonial architecture. Stroll the city with your love and take some of the best elopement pictures anyone’s ever seen!
Although Izamal is quaint, there are some excellent hotel and guesthouse options. There are also really remarkable temples, pyramids, and Mayan ruins to explore. And within just a few hours, you can get to popular places like Tulum, Cancun, and Playa del Carmen for more exploration.
Another picture-perfect elopement destination? Las Coloradas! This community in Yucatán features absolutely amazing bright pink lakes. You almost can’t even believe it’s real until you see it. Pink waters, stunning blue skies, and white sandy beaches make for an unbelievable elopement ceremony location.
The closest big city to Las Colorados is Merida, Yucatán’s capital, about 3 hours away. This is also a cool city to explore, with a rich Mayan and colonial heritage. There are also plenty of accommodation options here.
